The first step in becoming a ProCare One travel nurse is to complete an application form, available on-line.
You can even fax your resume to (800) 838-4747, submit it on-line or call us at (888) 747-7600. The more information you can provide about yourself, the more we can help you find your ideal assignment. Submitting an application does not obligate you to travel with us; it just helps us provide you with many exciting options. If you’re still hesitant, read some of our most frequently asked questions or submit a question.
As soon as your application is accepted, you will be assigned to a ProCare One travel specialist. To assist this professional in helping you find the right assignment, consider what is most important to you: good pay rates and benefits? locations? professional growth? living close to your family? Tax advantages? Your travel specialist will listen to your personal and professional needs and help you make an educated decision about which assignment suits you best.
Based on the information you provide, your travel specialist will research specific assignments that best match your skills and preferences. Together, you can discuss the advantages of each assignment, such as pay rates and facility requirements, and determine the best fit for you needs.
You'll be interviewed over the phone by a representative of the facility, usually the professional manager of the unit. He or she will have received your credentials prior to your interview, and your travel specialist will help you prepare using our list of interview tips.
Once you have been offered an assignment, your travel specialist will help you with credential requirements and the licensure process. We’ll even make arrangements for your housing and travel needs. You'll also receive detailed information regarding your benefits, compensation, tax advantage programs, and much, much more.
Your travel specialist will be in contact with you throughout your assignment. Wherever you go, ProCare One is with you every step of the way.
